Lillian King is a director and artistic administrator, who has worked in many roles at many theaters--from summer stock to Broadway. For the 14-15 season Lillian serves as Assistant Artistic Director and Director of Education at Northern Stage in Vermont, where she also directed Blithe Spirit and co-directed Songs for a New World. She recently graduated with her MFA in directing and certificate in Arts Administration from Boston University’s School of Theatre. Last year she was the Assistant Director on Rocky Broadway at the Winter Garden Theater. Lillian was Assistant Director for Peter and the Starcatcher at NYTW, on Broadway, and was Associate Director for the First National Tour. For the last seven summers Lillian has worked at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire where she directed A Little Night Music, The Student Prince, Legally Blonde and Almost, Maine She also served as Assistant Artistic Director at the Barn for two summers and ran the Junior Intern program for two years before that. Other directing credits include: A Doll House, The Women of Henry VIII, Antigone, Henry V, and The Last Five Years (BU).  Lillian lives with her fiance Dan in Toronto, and is looking forward to creating work in Canada and "the States" in the future!
